Inspiration
“Design ideas are all around us and are constantly changing.” Lori devotes herself to spending time with each client to get to know them… to get a feel for their tastes and needs. “Great designs should compliment the clients’ lifestyles!” She is sensitive to each client’s needs, and works with a vast array of manufacturers and vendors to find quality solutions while keeping a close eye on her clients’ budget.
Lori’s clientele often have a flare of their own for decorating, but need professional guidance to find just the right pieces to create the look that they are trying to achieve. She asks the client if they have anything that they must incorporate into the room, be it a piece of furniture, rug or chair. Many of her designs begin with just one piece, and she uses that item to inspire a look for the entire room. She also encourages her clients to look through magazines and cut out pictures to get visual ideas of what each client finds pleasing.
